Hi everyone! I am back to share a quick layout with you all today featuring a pic of my fabulous husband Joel.
To create this layout, I have used various Heidi Swapp papers from both the Sugar Chic collection and the No Limits Collection. I just adore Heidi’s ranges and I was so happy to be able to use some of the super girly range Sugar Chic in a more masculine way.
Now I never pretend to be very good at male themed layouts but I think I have done my hubby justice here with lots of manly features alongside bright colours and a ray of sunshine feel. To decorate the background, I have used the Harlequin Crafters Workshop Stencil with a mixture Teal Bombay India Ink and some Texture Paste. I also used the negative from 2 A2Z Scraplets cogs packs to add some cog shapes around the border and before they had a chance to dry, I have quickly sprinkled some Silver Micro Beads to add some metallic effect to the cogs. I still wasn’t 100% happy with the cogs so I have gone and coloured some A2Z Scraplets Cog Chipboard pieces using some Dylusions Ink Sprays and Perfect Pearls Mists. Gotta add some sparkle in there hehehe.
I wanted to add this fabulous A2Z Scraplets Starburst to the layout as well and decided I would layer it with lots of fun papers. I simply sprayed it with some Yellow Perfect Pearls Mist and allowed to dry before I stuck everything down and slotted the starburst in between layers.
Lots of final touches included some Heidi Swapp Buzz Words, Charms Creations Super Star along with some doodling and journalling. I also decided to add some washi tape and Heidi Swapp Phrase Stickers as well. Doesn’t it look fab? How awesome are Heidi’s product? She is definately an idol of mine.
Well that is it from me today, thanks so much for stopping by and don’t forget to say hello so I can come visit you too. Also don’t forget about my giveaway, only 4 more days left to enter. click here to see the giveaway post.
Until next time, happy scrapping!
